I have been trying to get inspired in my studio these days and have started some house paintings and am sewing some dolls to occupy them:D

Mathilda's book swap.

Mathilda had a book swap with some of her bookworm friends this weekend. They were so cute. And everyone left with a bookmark and 5 new books to read. I can't keep up with how fast Mathilda reads them.

Phillies win!!!

The pool was full of Phillies for our post win pool party. Mose's 9-10 baseball team won the championship this year. Led by their truly inspirational and amazing coach, Bob McGuire.

Katrina remembrance.

We marked the 4th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina with a visit to Lake Lawn Cemetery's flags installation. Each one marked a life lost.

We also made 100 PB&J's for the Desmond Project, which feeds the homeless every Saturday night.
