I picked Mathilda up from camp on the 22nd. I drove from Burlington, VT to Songa on a very gray day. After about 20 minues, I started to see part of a rainbow and as I continued to drive, I saw a full rainbow from end to end. It was spectacular. I smiled a very big smile thinking how appropriate it was to be accompanied by a bright, shiny rainbow on the way to pick up my little bit of sunshine. Mathilda Jane.
Tears of joy. Very happy to see me.
Last night ice cream at Songa.
Last night campfire. Mathilda was one of only 5 in her age group to earn her Jr. S. She also got awards in soccer, camp craft, dipping (that means getting up and jumping into the lake before breakfast) and rock climbing. She was very proud.
Finally home, after spending the night in JFK (don't ask). Two very happy campers.

Goodbye Keewaydin. See you next year!!!!
Josh picked up Mose from camp on Sat. Mose had an amazing time. He totally loved it and transitioned so well into camp life. The counselor in birding, pretty much let him run the class. He was in exploratories everyday and enjoyed kick ball, riflery, archery, swimming, boxing and canoeing. I can't say enough great things about this camp. He came home so confident. And with Mose, a little confidence goes a very long way. Speaking of confidence. Josh got to pick up MJ and take her to get ice cream off campus. She's enjoying dance, archery, diving and soccer. And seeing her brother. I go get her on the 20th. www.keewaydin.org
